UNUSUAL NORTH SARDINIA 
4 DAYS

1° Day: Arrival in Olbia, meeting with the local Guide and transfer with the bus to Bitti, a picturesque  center of the Barbagia area and visit of the local Museum of the Agriculture and pastoral culture , located in the historic center in old houses typical of the area. Visit to a Lab for the production of handcrafted artistic ceramics and continue to the "Agriturismo" Typical Sardinian lunch with local products. In the afternoon visit of the Archeological park of Romanzesu , partially discovered few years ago. It is a big village-Sanctuary dedicated to the cult of the waters in the Nuragic period . In the evening transfer to San Teodoro , accommodation in the Hotel , dinner and sleepover.

2° Day: Breakfast  in the hotel and departure with local Guide to Ardara to visit the Romanic church of  Santa Maria del Regno, entirely built on black Trachyte (X1 Siecle)  The tour continue to Oschiri and stop to visit in Bisarcio the old Cathedral of S. Antioco. From the tower the view is fantastic. Arrival in Oschiri and visit of the old Sanctuary of the "Madonna of Castro" with the "Cumbessias" old guest houses for the peregrines, the Bishop's palace and the prisons. From the summit of the hill enjoy the  view of the Logudoro valley and the remains of the "Castrum Romano" ( Roman fortress)  Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon visit to a Lab for the production of handmade "Torrone" and to a local cheese factory with possibility of tasting the products. At the end visit of the "Domus de Janas" Witches's House) of S. Stephan and in the evening back to the Hotel, dinner and sleepover.

3° Day: Breakfast in the hotel and departure by bus to Palau in time to catch the small "green train" to Tempio Pausania. The trip will go trough the characteristic hills and country side of the Gallura, with views rich of Flora and Animals between beautiful granite rocks typical of the area. Stop in the artificial dike of the "Liscia"  and open air country side pick-nick with local products. Continue to Calangianus and visit of an handcrafted Ceramic Lab and Cork factory and finally arrival to Tempio Pausania , old main center of the Gallura, bishop's headquarter and cultural center. Visit of the historic center and in the evening back by bus to the hotel, dinner and sleepover.

4° Day: Breakfast and departure to Orgosolo. Visit of the famous "Murales" and to the silkworm farm ( home based) and unique example in Sardinia. Continuation by bus to the forest that surround the town and arrival to a characteristic sheep-fold  ( "pinnetti") where will assist to the cheese home made production. Typical Sardinian open air with the shepherds with pork delicatessen, cheese, local breads, seasoned ricotta, boiled sheep with potatoes, broach roasted meats, Sardinian cookies, water, wine and local after dinner. In the afternoon open air songs and dances and in the evening back to Olbia in time to catch the return Ferry . End of the Tour.

UNUSUAL SOUTH SARDINIA 
4 DAYS

1° Day: Arrival in Cagliari, meeting with the local Guide and departure to Barumini to visit the most imposing and majestic Nuragic complex of the island, declared world patrimony by the UNESCO . The tour continue to the Giara of Gesturi and visit of one of the most wild areas of the island, where still live wild the famous small Sardinian horses in a suggestive natural ambience , rich of endemic perfumed plants and curious animals. During the excursion the visit will extend to the traditional " pinnette" typical houses built in Sardinia already 6000 years ago and still used now  by the shepherds , and the  Pauli Majori, the largest swamp of the Giara. Open air lunch with a pick nick with local products, most home made based in bread, cheese and sausages, "malloreddus" with Tuilese sauce( local type of pasta with a special local sauce),  artichoke, wild cardoon, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms preserved in olive oil , olives, ricotta cheese with honey, typical Sardinian cookies and drinks are included.  In the afternoon visit to a Cheese factory with the possibility to buy products. In the evening departure to Oristano, accommodation in Hotel in the reserved rooms, dinner and sleepover.

2° Day: Full board plan in Hotel. Visit of the Sinis peninsula , beautiful Sardinia's protected area , with several swamps and lagoons where live lot of migratory birds. Visit of the old fisherman's village , where it is possible still to admire the ancient boats used by the fishermen made entirely with rush grass. Visit of the ancient city of Tharros, in top of the Peninsula , with to ports, protected from the 2 dominant winds : the "Sirocco" ( south east wind)  and the Mistral ( North west wind) In the afternoon visit of the Paleo-Christian Church of S. Giovanni of Sinis and stop in a Social Winery where it is possible to taste the "Vernaccia", typical wine of the area.

3° Day: Half board in the Hotel, Full day excursion in Bosa and navigation in the Temo River up to the Romanic church of San Pietro dated 1,100. Back to Bosa to visit the beautiful historic old city. Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon visit to a typical winery with tasting of the famous "Malvasia" of Bosa and the typical Sardinian cookies.

4° Day: Breakfast and departure to a full day excursion of the Iglesias Area  and visit of the "Antas" Temple in the Fluminimaggiore valley, built by the Romans , in a preexistent Phoenician Temple. The tour continue to the S. Antioco island and visit of the Archeological site of the Tophet, where are still visible the urn with the ashes of the first born child sacrificed to the God Bes Lunch in the restaurant . In the afternoon visit of the panoramic Coast South of Sardinia , arrival in Cagliari and boarding to the Return Ferry . End of the Tour.

GRAND TOUR OF THE NORTH
6 DAYS

1° Day: Arrival in Olbia , meeting with the designated local Guide and departure for S. Teresa of Gallura, brief visit and continuation to Capo Testa and visit of the extreme Sardinia's point with the characteristic sculptures made by white granite rocks eroded by the wind and the sea. The Tour continue to Cannigione/Baia Sardinia, accommodation in Hotel and lunch. In the afternoon visit of the Costa Smeralda with a stop and walking visit of Porto Cervo , tourist village famous worldwide , as international tourist destination. founded in the 60's by the Ishmaelite Prince Karim Aga Kan.

2° Day: Half board in Hotel . Full day excursion to Tempio Pausania and visit of the old cultural center of the Gallura, with the typical granite constructions. The tour proceed to Aggius and visit of the famous Moon Valley , time for the pictures and continuation to Castelsardo , Visit of the Elephant rock, incredible rock in a high cliff over the sea with the animal shape , that was also an ancient old underground grave, (hypogeum) and the Fortress founded by the Doria . Lunch in the restaurant with fish menu. in the afternoon free time for shopping in the numerous handcraft shops ( baskets, ceramic, rugs, corals) .

3° Day: Breakfast and departure to Sassari. Stop on the way and visit of  the ancient S. Antioco of Bisarcio Church and the Basilica of S.S. Trinity of Saccargia , arrival in Sassari and visit of the city, ancient main city of the Torres "Giudicato" . Arrival in hotel, accommodation and lunch. In the afternoon excursion in Alghero and visit of the archeological area of the Nuraghe Palmavera and the Necropolis Anghelu Ruju . Back in the hotel, dinner and sleepover.

4° Day: Full board plan in hotel. In the morning, excursion  to Stintino and  visit of the characteristic fishing village. in the afternoon , excursion to Alghero and visit of the Catalan's origin and tradition city  Visit of the enchanting historic center with the tiny very interesting streets, visit of the Cathedral, the San Francisco church, the Aragonese Bastions and the seaside promenade.

5° Day: Breakfast in the hotel and departure for the excursion of a full day in Torralba to visit the Nuragic King palace  of S. Antine , imposing and majestic well preserved  Nuragic complex and to S. Pietro of Sorres to visit the famous Basilica , with the beautiful interiors in white and black Trachyte rock that made it unique and at the end Bosa, important medieval  center , famous until last century for the tanneries ,that are still visible in the numerous buildings . Bosa is the only town in Sardinia built along a river navigable for about 7 Km . Lunch in a restaurant with fish menu. In the afternoon ,navigation on the Temo river up to the San Pietro Extramuros church, very suggestive , built along the river. In the evening back to the hotel, dinner and sleepover.

6° Day: Breakfast and visit of the Sanna Museum in Sassari that collect a large amount of archeological and ancient material found in the North Sardinia and dated in different periods .Back for lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon departure for Pattada and visit of the Lab for the hand construction of violins ( appreciated also abroad) and a lab for the hand production of Jackknives ( called "Pattadesi") In the evening back to Olbia, boarding in the Ferry and end of the Tour.

6 DAYS

1° Day: Arrival in Cagliari , meeting with the local Guide and departure to Nora , ancient Phoenician-Punic town Visit of the archeological area and back to Cagliari, accommodation in Hotel and lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the city, the ancient Karalis, with it's monuments of the different ages and the numerous churches. Cagliari is now a modern city, the most populated of the island, the cultural and political center of South Sardinia . Possibility of shopping in the center. Dinner and sleepover in the hotel.

2° Day: Half board in hotel. Full day out. Departure to Barumini to visit the most imposing and majestic Nuragic complex of the island, declared world patrimony by the Unesco. The tour continue to the Giara of Gesturi and visit of one of the most wild areas of the island where still live free and wild the small Sardinian horses, in one suggestive natural ambience , rich of plants with intense perfumes and curious animals. The natural excursion will end with a open air lunch with a menu of local natural products, bread, cheese and sausages, "malloreddus" pasta made with a local special sauce ( Tuilese) , artichokes, wild cardoons  sun dried tomatoes and oil preserved  mushrooms, olives, ricotta cheese with honey , typical cookies and drinks are included. In the afternoon visit to a cheese factory that produce the famous "Pecorino cheese" ( sheep milk cheese)  typical product of the island  with possibility to purchase some product.

3° Day: Half board in. Full day excursion to Villasimius, famous bathing tourist location, main center of the Marine park just declared in the area. The tour continue to Costa Rei, along the coast and to Goni , in the Gerrei area with agricultural and shepherd's tradition with beautiful natural ambient, with wide mountains and lonely valley with breathtaking views of the Lake Mulargia . Visit of the Nuragic archeological site of Pranu Mutteddu, a cultural complex , made by ten Menhir ( huge stones inserted on the ground) . lunch with the local shepherds with local typical products in their sheep-fold ("pinnette") in the evening back to the hotel , dinner and sleepover.

4° Day: Breakfast and departure for an excursion in the Iglesias area and visit of the ancient temple of Antas, in the Fluminimaggiore Valley , built by the Romans on a preexistent Phoenician temple. The tour continue to Iglesias and visit of the city and the old mine. Lunch in the restaurant and in the afternoon visit of Carbonia, town founded by Mussolini in 1937 and surely one of the most important example of planned mineral center of Italy.

5° Day: Breakfast and departure for a full day excursion to Santadi, and visit of the "Is Zuddas" caves , surely one of the most beautiful of the island. The tour continue to S. Antioco and visit of the Archeological area of the Tophet, where it is possible to spot the ashes urn of the first born children sacrificed as offer to the BES God . Lunch in the restaurant with fish menu. In the afternoon , panoramic visit of the Sardinian South Coast , back in the hotel, dinner and sleepover.

6° Day: Breakfast and lunch in the hotel. In the morning visit of the Archeological Museum of Cagliari, that combined a large amount of archeological pieces  found in the island . Free afternoon to relax, shopping and free time on the beach ( if weather will be nice) In the evening boarding to the return Ferry and end of the tour
